It’s no secret that at EvidenceCare we have the opportunity to work with some of the best industry partners available. One of our more recent partners, in conjunction with our new suite of urgent care protocols, is the Urgent Care Association. As a result, we had the opportunity to exhibit at their annual Urgent Care Convention & Expo April 7-9 in West Palm Beach, Florida and launch our urgent care protocol suite in person to the urgent care community.

Our urgent care protocols are particularly exciting to us as Founder and CEO Dr. Brian Fengler is a former urgent care owner and realizes the need for our a tool like ours in the urgent care setting. On top of having access to these evidence-based protocols made especially for their care setting, we were also able to share with urgent care providers that these protocols are accredited for CME by UCA, so they can earn credit for the high-quality care they’re daily providing to their patients.

The conference was also a great opportunity to spend time with our friends in the urgent care industry, like David Shih of CityMD in the photo above. We wanted to say a big congratulations to Practice Velocity and DocuTAP who announced their pending merger and new name, Experity, at the convention. The team also enjoyed making lots of new friends with urgent care professionals from around the country. We can’t wait to see everyone again at other conferences in the future!

Lastly, we also wanted to thank the UCA team for putting together such a well-run event. Our team attended the Foundation dinner at the conference and came back talking about all of the great things the organization is doing in the urgent care community.

“Relationships like the one we have with UCA are important to nurture, and we feel fortunate to have such good partnerships in place with groups across the healthcare industry,” said Deb Miller, our chief experience officer. “The UCA conference was a great opportunity to see the association in action in their community, and we had a great time being a part of it.”

If you’re an urgent care provider, be sure to check out our new suite of protocols just for the urgent care setting! We even offer UCA members a 40 percent discount off of our Professional Plus version and three months of free access to the EHR documentation feature. Sign up here.
