Philip Katz, MD

Director of Motility Laboratories for the Division of Gastroenterology at the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health

Dr. Katz is the Director of Motility Laboratories for the Division of Gastroenterology at the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest and later completed residency, chief residency, and fellowship there. He served as GI program director at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Chief of Medicine of Graduate Hospital, and Vice Chair of Medicine at John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center prior to his current role. From 2009-2010, Dr. Katz has also served as the President of the American College of Gastroenterology.
