Amy Deaton is a hands-on leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology. She is a solution-oriented strategist with a focus on finding innovative and efficient ways to approach complex challenges.
In 2020 Amy joined EvidenceCare, an early-stage software company based in Nashville, TN. As the Chief Operating Officer, she oversees product development, implementation, and client success. Amy also manages company operations and provides strategic input to support the organization’s growth and scalability.
Prior to EvidenceCare, she spent most of her career in healthcare IT and management consulting. Amy was a Partner with Cumberland Consulting Group (now Tegria) in the Provider division. She was with the firm for 14 years before transitioning over to software. Her focus was on large-scale implementation and clinical transformation projects as well as strategic advisory services working with some of the nation’s largest healthcare systems.
Amy’s early consulting career started with Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology) where she worked in both the general delivery and healthcare divisions from 2000 – 2005. She was based out of the Chicago and Los Angeles business units.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science from the University of Wisconsin and is a member of the 2023 Nashville Healthcare Council Fellows Class.
