On Thursday, June 7, our CEO and founder Dr. Brian Fengler woke up in Houston, Texas, shined his shoes, straightened his tie, and geared up to take the stage at the 2018 Digital Health Accelerator Cohort’s TMCx Demo Day at the TMC Innovation Institute. Meanwhile, we popped popcorn and gathered around our conference room TV to watch his presentation. He had four minutes to explain his dream and vision for our company as well as the progress our company made in the cohort in front of more than 400 stakeholders, investors, clinical experts, and industry leaders in addition to 1,000 viewers online.
The whole team gathered to watch the Demo Day live stream and cheer Brian on.
“Being able to present something I’m proud of and believe in whole-heartedly to an audience of such influential people was an incredible experience,” Fengler said. “We were surrounded by brilliant minds and ideas for the duration of the cohort, so it really pushed our company and tool to new heights. We are excited about all we have learned and accomplished through the TMC Innovation Institute, and Demo Day was the perfect way to end it.”
Brian presented EvidenceCare to a packed house of stakeholders and influencers from around the world.
Last year, after Brian pitched against seven other early-stage healthcare companies from around the country at AngelMD’s startup pitch event during the American College of Emergency Physicians 2017 Scientific Assembly, we were announced as the Digital Health Award winner, earning us our spot in the 2018 cohort.
