James Martino transforms EHR data into actionable insights for healthcare providers, helping reduce healthcare variation across systems. He develops and maintains models to measure behavioral change resulting from these clinical interventions, ensuring measurable impact on care delivery.

Prior to joining EvidenceCare, James conducted full-stack contract engineering work and led some materials research for Raytheon, specializing in cold spray technologies during his graduate studies.

He holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University – minors in Material Science and Computer Science, and a PhD in Computational Material Science from Northeastern University.

When not analyzing healthcare data, James takes advantage of Boulder’s outdoor activities, enjoys listening to a wide variety of music (though he draws the line at country), and occasionally participates in competitive gaming.
