Amy Deaton is a seasoned, innovative healthcare technology executive with over 20 years of experience driving innovation and growth. As President & Chief Operating Officer of EvidenceCare, she oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, including product development, implementation, and client success.
Prior to her current role, Amy joined as Chief Operating Officer at EvidenceCare in 2020, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid expansion and success. Her strategic leadership and deep understanding of the healthcare industry have been instrumental in driving EvidenceCare’s growth and positioning it as a leader in the clinical decision support market.
Before joining EvidenceCare, Amy held executive positions at Cumberland Consulting Group (now Tegria) and Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology), where she led large-scale implementation and clinical transformation projects for some of the nation’s largest healthcare systems.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science from the University of Wisconsin and is a recognized leader in the Nashville healthcare community. She was a member of the Nashville Health Care Council’s Fellows Class of 2023 and has been recognized as one of Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence in 2024. She also volunteers with the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
